1. Increase the working voltage of the main contactor coil from the original AC 24V to AC 380V. Through this improvement, the operating current of the contactor is reduced by about 16 times. The advantage of this change is to reduce the voltage loss of the control contact, so that the heat generated by the contactor control contact is greatly reduced, and the electrical corrosion of the contact is suppressed at the same time.
2. The original thermal protection relay was replaced by a comprehensive motor protector. The purpose of the replacement is as follows：
A. Provide more protection for the motor and provide a reliable working environment for the motor.
B. Since the motor integrated protector uses induction to detect current, the use of thermal relays to generate intermediate nodes is reduced. Due to the small contact capacity of the thermal relay, it is easy to damage the shortcomings, and because the motor power line is drawn directly from the contactor, the mechanical strength is also increased.
3. Intermediate relays are used. The regulations for underground mine mobile equipment stipulate that the operating voltage shall not be greater than AC 24V. Since the coil voltage of the main AC contactor in the first item is AC 380v, in order to make this circuit meet the requirements of the regulations, intermediate relays are used for high and low voltage isolation.
4. The operating power supply is changed to a DC switching power supply, which can make full use of the advantages of the wide input range of the switching power supply, and eliminate the malfunction caused by the large voltage drop at start-up due to the long distance of the scraper's power supply.
